Location
Outside the cottage is a surprisingly large and virtually secret garden. First there is a paved, gravelled and secluded patio area equipped with garden chairs and table. Beyond is the main garden complete with summerhouse enclosing a wooden table and folding chairs. This is set in an attractive shrubbery and fronted by a lawn, itself edged by young beech hedging.
Beyond the garden, and during the summer months, the Appleby cricket field often provides a pleasant accompaniment in the form of the sound of leather on willow!
Please note that the garden can be muddy in the winter months.
